A wonderful, fun and relaxed family are looking for a super organized, switched on House Manager/Family Assistant for their Beverly Hills home, to ensure the smooth running of their home and facilitate their daily lifestyle requirements. No two days are the same, and from maintaining the immaculate condition of their home, to assisting the Lady of the house in her private chambers, the role requires someone who is able to prioritise the family’s needs and is willing to roll their sleeves up and do whatever is necessary to meet them. This is a live out position, mainly Monday to Friday, with flexibility on weekends if the family are entertaining.

The family are looking for someone with a sunny disposition who will fit in with their outlook and happy household. The ideal candidate will be: confident but not overbearing – able to work autonomously, make decisions and advise the family, without being pushy; a quick-thinking problem-solver with a ‘can do’ attitude; willing to turn their hand to anything – no job is too big or too small; organized, proactive and thorough –  with an eye for detail, always on the lookout for issues to resolve, or improvements to make; flexible without being chaotic – able to prioritize, delegate, and adapt to changing situations whilst maintaining standards; professional, yet personable – an excellent communicator who is supportive, empathic and respectful to both the family and colleagues.

Responsibilities include:

  • Consistently providing excellent customer service to the family
  • Managing household staff and third party providers
  • Reacting and responding to client requests (requiring Los Angeles local knowledge)
  • Daily supervision, rota management and assistance to the housekeeping staff when required
  • Assisting the lady of the house with dressing and preparing for events
  • Some table & drink service when required
  • Budgeting and accounting (some experience is required)
  • Identifying and maintaining strong supplier relationships
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting, thus retaining invaluable client relationships
  • Diary assistance, making reservations
  • Pet care
  • Managing fleet of cars
  • Receiving/delivering packages
  • Running various errands and stocking the home with necessary supplies


  • Previous experience as a busy House Manager/PA
  • Fluent in English
  • Good driver
  • Previous Assistant/Lifestyle Management experience in a client facing role
  • Experience working with High Net Worth individuals & families
  • Well networked with good contacts
  • Experience in construction and home improvement projects
  • Ideally experience in the following Lifestyle areas: staff sourcing, luxury travel, home management, event management
  • An interest in fashion
  • Excellent written and computer skills (MAC)
  • Experience with smart home systems (SAVANT)

About The family

This high profile but down to earth family spread their time between LA and their two houses in the UK. The LA house is fully staffed, and the role oversees the work of three/four cleaners, private chef & gardeners and reports directly to the Estate Manager (based in UK).
